NEW DELHI: The Centre on Tuesday capped costs of Covid-19 vaccines for personal hospitals. The most worth that private hospitals can cost for Covishield is Rs 780, Covaxin Rs 1,410, and Sputnik V Rs 1,145, the Centre stated.
The Centre stated the value of vaccine doses for personal hospitals can be declared by every vaccine producer, and any subsequent adjustments can be notified upfront.
“The private hospitals may charge up to a maximum of Rs 150 per dose as service charges. State governments may monitor the price being so charged,” well being ministry stated in its order.
