Govt hopeful of holding monsoon session of Parliament on schedule in July: Minister Joshi | India News - Times of India

NEW DELHI: The authorities is hopeful that the Monsoon Session of Parliament will start on its regular schedule in July, parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi stated on Tuesday amid the second wave of Covid-19.
Since the pandemic started, three periods of Parliament had been curtailed and the winter session final yr needed to be cancelled.
Last yr, the Monsoon Session, which normally begins in July, had begun in September.
“I am hopeful that Parliament session will be held as per its normal schedule starting in July,” Joshi instructed PTI.
