Suvendu Adhikari defeated Mamata Banerjee within the election in Bengal’s Nandigram constituency (File)

New Delhi:

BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition within the West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.

Mr Adhikari met PM Modi at his residence a day after assembly the BJP’s high brass, together with get together president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

This was the primary assembly Mr Adhikari had with the highest leaders of the BJP after turning into the Leader of Opposition within the West Bengal Assembly.

Suvendu Adhikari had defeated Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in a carefully contested election within the Nandigram meeting section in Bengal.
