Citing shortage, Centre asks states to nominate more officers for central deputation | India News - Times of India

NEW DELHI: It will be weeks and never months earlier than Mehul Choksi, needed within the Rs 13,500 crore PNB rip-off, is introduced back to India, stated senior advocate Harish Salve whose companies have been sought by Delhi to combat the deportation case in Dominica.
In an interview to a TV channel, he stated Choksi would be back in India “in weeks”.
“I don’t have that kind of experience in Dominican courts, but hopefully we should be taking weeks rather than months,” Salve stated when requested in regards to the deportation of Choksi.
The authorities has not made any announcement on participating Salve within the deportation case. Choksi has employed prime attorneys from the UK to combat his case for being deported to Antigua and to not India.
