Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh has examined optimistic for COVID-19 for the second time in two months, a well being official mentioned on Friday.

The veteran Congress chief had earlier examined optimistic for the illness on April 12.

He is being handled at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) hospital, Shimla and his situation is secure, Special Secretary (Health) Nipun Jindal mentioned.

Nine-time MLA and five-time MP, Singh was Himachal Pradesh”s chief minister for six phrases.

The 86-year-old veteran Congress chief is presently the MLA from Arki in Solan district.

Earlier, he was admitted to a hospital in Chandigarh after he examined optimistic for coronavirus on April 12.

Mr Singh returned dwelling in Holly Lodge in Shimla on April 30 from the Chandigarh hospital after recovering from COVID-19.

However, inside hours after reaching dwelling, he was admitted to IGMC when he complained of cardiac and respiratory issues. Since then he’s being handled on the hospital.
