The Covid curfew in Himachal Pradesh has been prolonged with a number of extra relaxations until additional orders, an official spokesperson stated on Friday.
The buses throughout the state will ply with 50 per cent occupancy and outlets will stay open from 9 am to five pm from June 14, he added.
The determination to increase the curfew was taken on Friday within the cupboard assembly chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
The curfew will proceed from 5 pm to five am within the state until additional orders, the spokesperson added.
Intrastate public transport might be allowed with 50 per cent occupancy and the timing of opening of outlets has been elevated from 9 am to five pm from Monday.
Earlier the outlets have been allowed to open from 9 am to 2 pm.
However, the outlets besides these of important commodities will stay closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
It was additionally determined that the places of work will operate with 50 per cent of workers from Monday, the spokesperson stated.
All the medical faculties, ayurvedic faculties and dental faculties will open from June 23.
Pharmacy and nursing colleges will open from June 28.
