Inter district-movement from the remaining 9 districts to these beneath curfew stays prohibited (File)

Amid an increase in COVID-19 instances, the Manipur authorities on Friday determined to increase the continuing curfew in seven districts until June 30.

On account of the excessive positivity fee, curfew was first imposed on May 8 within the districts of Imphal West, Imphal East, (*30*), Kakching, Ukhrul, Churachandpur, and Bishnupur, and later prolonged until June 11.

The Home division order on Friday stated, “the number of Covid-19 infections and deaths remain high in the state and there is a need to continue with the restrictions till it shows a considerable decline.”

However, further actions apart from ones already permitted will now be allowed.

The authorities has allowed the opening of airways metropolis reserving reservation workplaces and the railway reservation workplace on the MSRTC complicated from 10 am to 2 pm, and bakery operations with in situ employees by taking satisfactory precaution and strictly following COVID-19 acceptable behaviour.

However, inter district-movement from the remaining 9 districts the place curfew isn’t in pressure to the seven districts beneath curfew will stay prohibited.
