A Pakistani nationwide, who was staying illegally together with her husband at Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district since 2015 together with her three kids, has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody, police stated on Thursday.
Khadija Mehrin, a Pakistani nationwide, married Mohiddin Rukkuddin from Bhatkal in 2014 in Dubai.
She had travelled on a vacationer visa to India for 3 months and in 2015, she entered India illegally, the police stated.
