Chief Minister Post Will Remain With Sena For 5 Years, Says Sanjay Raut (FILE)

Shiv Sena chief Sanjay Raut on Sunday mentioned that in Maharashtra’s three-party Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities, the submit of chief minister will stay with the Shiv Sena for the complete five-year time period, and it’s “non-negotiable”.

The Shiv Sena, which was one of many oldest allies of the BJP, had cast an unlikely alliance with the NCP and the Congress after the 2019 state polls to type the MVA authorities, after parting methods with the BJP over the problem of sharing the Chief Minister’s submit.

Talking to reporters in Nashik, Mr Raut mentioned, “Shiv Sena’s chief minister in MVA will continue for five years. It is a commitment and there is no sharing of the post. It is non-negotiable.”

Reacting to state Congress president Nana Patole’s remarks that the Congress would be the largest get together within the state after the 2024 meeting polls, Mr Raut mentioned there’s a viral video on social media, by which it’s mentioned that Mr Patole aspires to be a Chief Minister.

“There is no harm in aspiring for a post. There are several claimants in all parties. In the Congress, there are several leaders capable even of leading the country,” he mentioned.

Mr Raut mentioned the MVA is an alliance of three ideologically totally different events.

To a query on ballot strategist Prashant Kishor’s current assembly with NCP chief Sharad Pawar, the Sena’s Rajya Sabha member mentioned Mr Kishor has met a number of political leaders earlier than and has labored even for Narendra Modi.
