Former Indian ladies volleyball group captain Nirmal Kaur, who’s the spouse of dash legend Milkha Singh, died at a Mohali hospital as a consequence of issues associated to COVID-19 an infection she had contracted final month. Nirmal was delivered to Fortis Hospital at Mohali on May 26, two days after Milkha was admitted to the identical facility as a consequence of COVID-pneumonia.
Milkha was discharged on the request of the household every week later however Nirmal remained on the hospital, batting the dreaded an infection.
Milkha was later admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of PGIMER right here and he’s presently “stable and continues to improve”.
