With the Covid positivity price in Punjab dropping beneath 2 per cent, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in the present day introduced that eating places, cinema halls and gymnasiums within the state can open up and function at 50 per cent capability.
Relaxing the curbs additional, the Chief Minister mentioned that the cap on the variety of friends allowed at weddings and cremations is being raised to 50. The restrictions shall be eased tomorrow onwards.
The state authorities has not allowed bars and golf equipment to open but and the night time curfew from 8 pm to five am will proceed to stay in place. The weekend curfew from 8 pm on Saturday and 5 am on Monday may also proceed for now.
