Delhi and UP noticed 109 and 79 deaths of docs respectively in Covid second wave, as per IMA.(File)

As many as 730 docs died in the course of the second wave of the Covid pandemic, mentioned the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Wednesday, including that the utmost fatalities have been reported in Bihar.

Bihar reported 115 physician deaths, adopted by Delhi which recorded 109 fatalities, and Uttar Pradesh with 79. In southern states, Andhra Pradesh reported 38, Telangana 37, Karnataka 9, Kerala 24, and Odisha 31. Twenty-three docs died in Maharashtra.

Today, India reported 62,224 contemporary COVID-19 circumstances within the final 24 hours, whereas the every day positivity price additional dropped to three.22 per cent, in line with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoFHW).
