Lok Janshakti Party chief Chirag Paswan has contested Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s choice to call Pashupati Kumar Paras because the chief of the social gathering within the House, saying it’s “contrary” to provisions of his organisation.

In a letter written on Tuesday, Chirag Paswan additionally knowledgeable Om Birla of the social gathering’s choice to expel 5 MPs, who’ve joined fingers towards him, and urged the Speaker to evaluate the sooner choice and concern a brand new round naming him because the LJP chief within the Lok Sabha.

“Since Article 26 of the Constitution of Lok Jan Shakti Party empower Central Parliamentary Board of the party to decide who would be Leader of our Party in Lok Sabha, hence, the decision of announcing Sh. Pashupati Kumar Paras MP as Leader of LJP party in the Lok Sabha is contrary to provision of Constitution of our party,” Mr Paswan wrote.

Chirag Paswan’s paternal uncle – Pashupati Kumar Paras – has been elected as their chief by the 5 of social gathering’s six MPs rather than him.

Both factions have now moved to manage the social gathering and mission their group as the actual LJP, based by Chirag Paswan’s father Ram Vilas Paswan.

While the faction led by Chirag Paswan has expelled the 5 MPs from the social gathering, the rival group has eliminated him as its president.
