A Munich police spokesman instructed AFP that no less than two folks suffered head accidents and “both had to be taken to hospital, we don’t know yet how serious the injuries are”.

UEFA also slammed the botched stunt.

Greenpeace said they regretted any harm caused.
“This protest was by no means meant to disrupt the sport or damage folks,” read a Twitter post on Greenpeace’s official German account.
