A person with 50,000 Saudi Riyals money (price Rs 10 Lakhs) has been detained in Delhi.

The Central Industrial Security Force as we speak detained a person with 50,000 Saudi Riyals money (price Rs 10 Lakhs) on the Delhi worldwide airport, an official launch mentioned.

Rohani Naqibullah, sure for Kabul by a Kam Air flight, was intercepted on the terminal-3 of the airport in the course of the safety checks.

During x-ray screening of his bag, the safety personnel observed suspicious picture of forex notes inside his bag. The officers then made an intensive search, following which, 50,000 Saudi Riyals forex notes, price about Rs 10 lakh, was recovered from his baggage, an official mentioned.

The forex was discovered hid beneath the layers of the garments saved inside his bag. On enquiry, the person couldn’t produce any legitimate doc.

Subsequently, senior officers of the safety and customized division had been knowledgeable and the passenger was handed over to them for additional investigation, he mentioned.
