
Centre has been supporting states and UTs by giving COVID-19 vaccines without cost, they mentioned

More than 2.18 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses can be found with states and union territories, and over 56,70,350 extra are on its manner and will likely be acquired by them within the subsequent three days, the Union Health Ministry mentioned on Thursday.
More than 27.28 crore (27,28,31,900) vaccine doses have been supplied to the states and UTs to date by the federal government of India (freed from value channel) and thru direct state procurement class, it mentioned.
Of this, the full consumption, together with wastage, is 25,10,03,417 doses (as per knowledge accessible at 8 am on Thursday), the ministry mentioned, including, “2,18,28,483 COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states and UTs to be administered.”
“Furthermore, more than 56,70,350 vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by them within the next three days,” it mentioned.
As a part of the nationwide vaccination drive, the central authorities has been supporting the states and UTs by offering them COVID-19 vaccines without cost, the ministry mentioned.
In addition, it has additionally been facilitating direct procurement of vaccines by the states and UTs.
