Sanjay Raut stated the editorial in Saamna nowhere mentions the BJP is concerned in Ayodhya land deal.

Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut had a riposte to BJP allegations of  hooliganism after yesterday’s conflict between the employees of two events exterior the Sena Bhavan in Mumbai’s Dadar. “No one need to give us a certificate on being goondas, we are certified,” the senior Sena chief advised reporters at the moment.  Then he added, “When it comes to Marathi pride and Hindutva, we are certified goondas”, declaring that the celebration workplace was a logo of the state and its folks.

The Sena and BJP employees got here to blows yesterday after the BJP youth wing held a protest march in opposition to “offensive” remarks in Sena mouthpiece Saamana about a land deal controversy in Ayodhya. Accusing the Sena workers of hooliganism, the BJP also alleged that they had assaulted a woman member of the party.

The Sena said they had received information that the BJP workers were coming to vandalise the party office.

“We have been first advised that BJP employees have been coming to protest, later we learnt that they’re coming to vandalise the Sena Bhavan. So we stopped them earlier than they may attain close to it,” Sena MLA Sada Sarvankar was quoted as saying by news agency Press Trust of India.

“Balasaheb Thackeray used to take a seat on the Shiv Sena Bhavan. If somebody costs on the Shiv Sena Bhavan, we are going to reply and if that is known as goondagiri, then we’re goondas,” Sanjay Raut said today.

“Why did the BJP get so agitated? What did the Sena editorial say? It simply sought clarification on the allegations and demanded that if the fees are proved false, those that levelled them must be punished. Is asking for a clarification against the law on this nation? The editorial nowhere mentions that the BJP is concerned in it. Can’t you learn and write? First perceive what the allegations are and what the Shiv Sena spokespersons have stated. Are you educated or not?” added the Sena leader who is also the editor of Saamna.

The BJP, a former ally of the Sena, accused the party of “defaming Lord Ram” for political reasons.

“The Sena was as soon as happy with the demolition of the Babri mosque… Sonia or Vadra (Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra) have now grow to be the Sena”s deities,” state BJP chief Ashish Shelar was quoted as saying by information company Press Trust of India.
