Initially the anti-terror law was slapped against all the accused persons, but after filing the charge sheet, the NIA confined it to only select persons – those related to Social Democratic Party Of India (SDPI).
“I’m hopeful, with this order, many different individuals will come out… I hope with the assistance of this order, these remaining 10 individuals may even come out. After this launch, about 28 individuals will stay contained in the jail, those that are concerned within the UAPA issues. We have already moved for bail. We hope we’ll obtain some order very quickly,” Mr Tahir added.
