A person in Thane metropolis has been accused of duping some 100 traders to the tune of Rs 59 lakh by promising them excessive returns, a police official stated on Friday.
Accused Anand Konar, who’s on the run, had floated a funding agency in Naupada, the official added.
Efforts are on to catch him, the Naupada police station official added.
