Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the six custom-made Crash Course programme for COVID-19 frontline employees by video conferencing beneath the Skill India scheme.

“We are starting this crash course to train over 1 lakh people to help as frontline healthcare workers. This course will be a short one and these people will be ready to help in 2 months’ time. This will help greatly in our ongoing battle with COVID-19. These new skilled healthcare workers will help the existing frontline workers to help manage the situation across the nation,” PM Modi stated.

Speaking on the event, PM Modi urged the folks to stay cautious, stressing that the virus is “still amongst us” and the potential for it mutating can also be there.

He additionally stated the central authorities is dedicated to supply Covid vaccination free to everybody, beginning June 21.

Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Mahendra Nath Pandey and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had been additionally current on the event.
