A cab driver died after his automobile was hit from behind by a automobile pushed by a Delhi Police constable beneath the Barapulla flyover within the south-eastern a part of town, officers mentioned on Saturday.
The accident befell late Friday night time, and the deceased has been recognized as Prempal of Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, they mentioned.
Constable Mohit, who was driving the automobile that hit the cab, was apprehended, Deputy Commissioner of Police (southeast) R P Meena mentioned.
“Mohit is a constable in the Delhi Police and was posted in New Delhi district. His father, Hariom, is a sub-inspector,” Mr Meena mentioned.
