Champ, one of many two household canine of Joe Biden, has died, the US President introduced on Saturday. “We love our sweet, good boy and will miss him always,” the US President and first girl remembered their companion for 13 years on Twitter.
The Bidens had Champ – a German Shepherd, dwelling with them since 2008, when Joe Biden was serving because the US Vice President below Barack Obama. The Bidens have one other German Shepherd – Major, who’s the primary animal from an animal rescue shelter to stay within the White House.

The arrival of Champ and Major marked the return of pets to the White House after a four-year hiatus below former President Donald Trump, who was the primary president since Andrew Johnson within the 1860s to not share the presidential digs with a canine or a cat.
“When we came into a room, he would immediately pull himself up, his tail always wagging, and nuzzle us for an ear scratch or a belly rub,” the assertion continued.
When Champ was youthful, they mentioned, he was “happiest chasing golf balls on the front lawn of the Naval Observatory or racing to catch our grandchildren as they ran around our backyard in Delaware.”
