An assistant sub-inspector of police was killed on Sunday after his service revolver went off by accident at Fatehgarh Niara village in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur district, police stated.
ASI Rajveer Singh (51) was posted on the Chabbewal police station.
He was cleansing his service revolver at his residence within the village when it went off by accident, police stated.
His members of the family rushed him to the native district hospital the place medical doctors declared him introduced lifeless.
