Bengaluru Urban administered 2,09,256 Covid vaccine doses until 7 pm on Monday, stated the minister (File).

Bengaluru Urban stood primary amongst districts within the nation within the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive on Monday, by administering 2,09,256 doses, whereas Karnataka stood second amongst states by administering 10.36 lakh doses, Health Minister Okay Sudhakar stated.

“Karnataka stood second in the entire country in the nationwide Vaccine Maha Abhiyan today. The state administered 10.36 lakh doses in a single day today (till 7 pm). Total doses administered in the state to date are 1.96 crore,” Mr Sudhakar stated.

He stated, Bengaluru Urban district is the number one district within the nation in Monday’s abhiyan, because it administered 2,09,256 doses until 7 pm, whereas Indore in Madhya Pradesh got here second with 2,01,339 doses.

This was attainable on account of micro planning and cohesive efforts of the federal government.

Bengaluru city district has additionally been the No.1 district within the nation for the general vaccinations, he stated, including that 52,88,684 doses have been administered within the district until June 21.

Among the states, Madhya Pradesh stands first having administered 14.71 lakh doses and Uttar Pradesh third with 6.57 lakh doses.

Earlier within the day, the minster had reiterated that the state goals to vaccinate each eligible citizen by the tip of December.
