Nepal caretaker Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday claimed that Yoga originated in Nepal, including that India wasn’t round when Yoga began on the earth.
“Yoga originated in Nepal, not in India. At the time when Yoga came into existence, there was no existence of India; it was divided into factions,” caretaker Prime Minister Oli stated.
Mr Oli made the assertion whereas addressing a program held at his residence Baluwatar on the event of International Yoga Day. Mr Oli additionally claimed that Indian specialists have been hiding details about it.
“India that exists now wasn’t there in the past. India at that time was divided into different factions,” caretaker PM Oli stated. “Divided into factions, India at that time was like a continent or sub-continent,” he added.
International Day of Yoga has been celebrated yearly on June 21 since 2015, following its inception within the United Nations General Assembly in 2014.

However, in reality, Ayodhya is a village lying west of Birgunj,” Mr Oli claimed at an occasion organised at Prime Minister’s residence in Kathmandu.
He had additionally blamed India of cultural encroachment by “creating a fake Ayodhya.”
