
Those going to UP from states with weekly positivity charge over 3% will want unfavorable RTPCR report

The Uttar Pradesh authorities on Tuesday made a unfavorable coronavirus report or vaccination certificates obligatory between Aug 1 and 15 for these coming into the state from areas having greater than three per cent weekly positivity charge.
Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad instructed reporters stated it will likely be relevant for all these coming by air, rail or street routes from such states.
All these coming from different states having weekly positivity charge greater than three per cent must produce a unfavorable RTPCR report not older than 4 days or vaccination certificates of each doses, Mr Prasad stated.
“The restriction is only for the states having high weekly positivity rate of over three per cent. There is no restriction for other states,” he stated, including that the variety of energetic instances within the state has come all the way down to 1,093 in Uttar Pradesh.
Later an order issued on this regard by the state surveillance officer stated the listing of excessive positivity states based mostly on the weekly positivity charge (16-22 July) shall be revealed on web site http://dgmhup.gov.in on July 24.
“Travellers coming to Uttar Pradesh between August 1 and 15 from the states mentioned in this list must make one of the documents available at the point of entry into UP,” the order stated.
