Eid-ul-Zuha or Eid al-Adha is widely known on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, and two days after the start of the Hajj pilgrimage within the final month of the Islamic calendar. Traditionally, the beginning date of this pageant is dependent upon the sighting of the brand new crescent moon.

The pageant marks the tip of Hajj and includes animal sacrifice as a logo of Ibrahim’s sacrifice to Allah.
