At least 14 properties linked to former Tamil Nadu Minister P Thangamani had been raided as we speak in reference to a disproportionate property case filed towards him. This is the second time this month that raids had been carried out at properties linked to the minister, prompting calls of political vendetta by his occasion, the AIADMK.
The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption (DVAC) had final week filed a Rs 4.85 crore disproportionate property case towards the AIADMK chief.
Thereafter, the company carried out raids at Mr Thangamani properties in additional than 60 locations together with Erode, Namakkal throughout which Rs 2 crore unaccounted money and one Kg gold had been seized.
