Electric-car maker Tesla Inc’s Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk stated on Sunday on Twitter that he pays greater than $11 billion in taxes this 12 months.
Earlier this week, Democratic US Senator Elizabeth Warren took to Twitter to say that Musk ought to pay taxes and cease “freeloading off everyone else” after Time journal named him its “person of the year”.

Musk responded by saying that he “will pay more taxes than any American in history this year”.
Musk is the world’s richest individual and his firm Tesla is value about $1 trillion. Over the previous couple of weeks, Musk has bought almost $14 billion value of Tesla shares.
